Trump delivered his first joint address of his second term to a very divided Congress on Tuesday. He gave a bold speech celebrating his administration’s accomplishments, and a long list of signed Executive Orders and Executive Actions. During the speech Trump tried to bring the country together with inspirational stories of triumph and success. He also discussed his legislative priorities and promises for America’s future.
“Six weeks ago, I stood beneath the dome of this Capitol and proclaimed the dawn of the golden age of America,” Trump said. “From that moment on, it has been nothing but swift and unrelenting action to usher in the greatest and most successful era in the history of our country.”
As expected, the Democrats were extremely disrespectful throughout Trump’s speech. Even when Trump was introduced, not one Democrat stood or applauded. It was so bad at one point that one Democrat congressman had to be removed for continuously interrupting.
Democrats were so disrespectful they wouldn’t stand for the mother of a slain officer. Democrats are so disconnected, the only thing they applauded for during the entire speech was America giving billions to Ukraine.
