What is DEI and why is it still a controversial topic among many Americans? The Left-leaning popular news media continues to give their definition of DEI. “DEI means that anyone who applies to a job gets a fair shot, regardless of their age and skin color.”

“DEI does not mean that hiring managers are lowering their standards to include people who aren’t qualified for the job.”

If the popular news media is correct about their definition of DEI, why are many companies already moving away from their DEI programs? Roughly 20% of companies in the S&P 100, including Meta, Amazon, Target and McDonald’s, have quickly moved away from DEI programs since Trump’s re-election, according to a Bloomberg News report. Why would many major companies move away from a program that is fair and necessary?

The Left’s DEI programs are strongly being challenged, and DEI critics have legitimate arguments. Several major companies are facing lawsuits and backlash over their DEI programs, and many individuals have already won lawsuits challenging DEI under the claim of reverse discrimination.

Many Republicans, including Vice President Vance, feel that DEI hiring practices are destructive and racially divisive, and there’s some strong evidence to back up their claims!
