On Wednesday the Supreme Court allowed Republican officials in Virginia to revive a plan that removes noncitizen voters from the rolls ahead of the November 5th election.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, a Republican, said “This is a victory for commonsense and election fairness.” “Virginians can cast their ballots on Election Day knowing that Virginia’s elections are fair, secure, and free from politically-motivated interference,” he added.

As expected, the order noted that the three liberal justices on the court, which has a 6-3 conservative majority, all dissented. Other left-wing groups tried to spin the narrative as they voiced their disdain for the ruling stating that “This ruling is devastating for Virginia voters because we are essentially allowing eligible voters to be stripped of their fundamental rights.”

Of course, the opposite is true, the ruling helps to stop election interference and keeps noncitizens from voting in the election, which means we can have a fair election.
